We stayed at this property due to the location. While the room and hallways were on the small side as previous reviewers have mentioned, the overall stay was fine and that didn't matter. The room was small but adequate as was the bathroom. There were plenty of towels and the amenities were replenished. This is a problem we have had with much nicer hotels so it was a nice touch. The staff was very courteous. Overall a good deal for DC

The staff at this hotel is very pleasant and welcoming. I had a room with a king bed and large bathroom, as it was for a disabled person. I had a nice view as well. The breakfast in the cafe on site seemed somwhat expensive but was probably on par for Washington D.C. I got my breakfast quite quickly compared to other Courtyard's I've stayed at with a similar set up.

My only complaint is the parking. It costs $25 plus $4.50 in tax. And this is a small, cramped garage that is somewhat difficult to maneuver in.

I stayed at this hotel with several friends over a holiday weekend and was very dissapointed with the service and the overall aesthetics of the rooms. Our double room was very small, with the bathroom being smaller then my walk in closet at home. The halls are very narrow, which makes waiting for the elevator difficult if others are trying to move about. Service at check in was dissapointing. I have elite status with Marriott, and I was not greeted as I usually am at other Marriott hotels. The lady at the front desk seemed almost annoyed that that we had 4 individuls staying in our room even after noting it on the reservation. I will spend the extra money to stay at a different hotel next time I'm in DC.

Checked in here for a night's stay. Just average, with one deal=killer for me.

Pros:
--Location: great central location. Short walk to Dupont Circle and the Metro. Close to dining on 14th.
--Price: definitely one of the cheaper options in this good of a location
--Lobby: recently redone and quite nice
--Parking: cheaper than most other central DC hotels

Cons:
-- NO WIFI IN ROOMS! What is this, 1998? Every major hotel chain gets Wifi into rooms. Instead, you get Wifi in the lobby and an ethernet connection in the room. Gee, thanks, but my iPad and Phone dont have ethernet ports.
-- Internet in lobby computers was sloooooow. Like, dialup speed, when I could get it to work at all.
-- Rooms are average. Don't expect luxury accomodations. Bedding is basic, furnishings need updating and bathrooms need full scale renovation. Nothing horrible, but not really inviting.
