We made a reservation for a room with a queen bed and a full kitchen. Our room had no kitchen. The room was a good size, staff was friendly, and the restaurant was nice. However, the bed was uncomfortable and the mattress cover was in shreds. The TV remote control did not work properly and we couldn't get all the channels.

This hotel is a gem, with a fabulous staff. My wife and I picked the hotel because of its proximity to GWU Medical Center, where our son was having surgery. The staff was responsive to our every request, including providing an extension cord so our son could power his computer following his successful operation. Our room was large, and the kitchenette allowed us to purchase food from a nearby Whole Foods so we could have meals early and late following long days at the hospital. The fresh coffee beans, grinder and pot were added treats. We enthusiastically recommend the One Washington Circle Hotel to everyone.

This hotel is among the best I've stayed at in Washington. The location is exceptional: walking distance to both the White House and Dupont Circle areas, and it's close to a number of good restaurants, particularly those near George Washington U. The room was clean, well-appointed, and very large: it's unusual to have a microwave and refrigerator in a room at a hotel of this quality, and there's a Whole Foods store a block away so one can easily eat breakfast and small meals in room.. The coffee provided was in the form of whole beans that could be freshly ground, and was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was the noise; there seemed to be a lot of partying going on at GWU the night we were there. But I'd certainly stay here again and recommend it to friends.

I have stayed in numerous hotels for business and pleasure, but this hotel stands out as an example to others. The room consisted of a generously spaced lounge, bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. It was up to date and well maintained. In terms of service there was great attention to detail such as free fresh coffee beans and a grinder along with a coffee maker. The staff with one notable exception were fantastic; full of helpful advice, obliging and polite.
It is hard to get full marks, but for this hotel they are well deserved
