I booked this hotel with a few friends on our way to DC from New York. It was the day of, and they had two rooms which is what we needed. For the value, this is probably the best hotel in the area. The rooms were big, I mean HUGE for what we paid. I was expecting to go through my bank account because you are in the Georgetown area, but this hotel really treats their customers great and you can't beat their prices. Georgetown Cupcakes is in the area, and this hotel is right off of the main strip. There are great food places along with sneaker and clothes shops on the strip. The hotel was very clean, and there was a great outdoor area situated in a little alley in between the hotel.

I really recommend this to anyone. Whether it's you and your family, or you're going with friends, the prices are unbeatable.

We stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend 2011 for visiting nearby relatives. The location within Georgetown is excellent and the price was unbeatable. You are also about a 10 minute walk from the nearest train station at Foggy Bottom that will take you anywhere downtown etc.. We had a front-facing room that was really a suite - a living room and bedroom (ask for a room in the front for much better light). The contintental breakfast was excellent and included. The staff were very helpful with taxis (we didn't bother with a car). Have a great French meal at La Chaumiere which is very nearby and get the chocolate souffle *yum*.

Booked here after unsatisfying stay at Latham. Outside of the lame gratis breakfast, an outstanding value. Do not be fooled by overscented lobby. Rooms are very large, super clean, and quite comfortable. Impressive marble bathrooms. Fussy locks to open doors, but otherwise nearly perfect.

Great location, extra large rooms, very friendly staff and enough continental breakfast to start your day, along with a very acceptable price. After searching through various DC hotels this was an excellent choice. Especially enjoyed the room size and design along with wandering the streets of such an interesting neighbourhood. Great food around the corner, many choices and easy transport to various city locations. Bit of a walk to the subway so ask the staff about the $1.00 bus. Staff are very helpful and seem to enjoy what they do.
