The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early which was a treat since we arrived close to noon after almost a four hour drive.
The location was the selling point for me. The hotel is within walking distance to almost everything downtown worth seeing. There are plenty of restaurants, Starbucks (one on every corner it seemed), and shopping opportunities nearby.
While I'm not opposed to using the Metro, we either walked or took a cab to all of our destinations on this trip simply because of the weather. It was snowing and very cold during our stay.
Parking in convenient, although expensive, but it really is comparable to the rest of the hotels in the city.
Breakfast was very good (and filling) and the complimentary coffee all day/night was fantastic!

Fantastic location, superior staff. We started every morning with breakfast and the staff was fantastic- Amel, Tisha never let your coffee or juice be less than half full, and on our last morning Amel and George even gave my Mountain Dew loving husband a MD from George's personal stash (it's a Coke property). Would definitely stay here again when in DC.

Stayed here for business during the weekend recently,the staff friendly and helpful,and the room perfect.The Valet service was excellent,while there is around a $30 charge,its more than comparable to other places in DC,and I highly recommend Pulling up,handing your car over,and enjoying the Metro sation literally steps from the front door of the hotel.Its in a great location to see the sights.In a major Metropolitan area such as D.C I would have expected to pay alot more for this Hotel,and I booked the rack rate.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights (he for business and me for vacation). I picked this hotel first for the price (MUCH cheaper than those around it) and second for the location (walking distance to museums, white house and McPherson Square metro station is right across the street). Mandatory valet parking is $35, but I've never seen anything cheaper in the city. The front desk staff and valets are REALLY friendly and helpful. The hotel has had a recent facelift- the rooms are much more up to date than the pictures on this site (and the Hilton site) show. We had a king room - HUGE and very cute. More like a chic boutique hotel than a Hilton. Also loved the big bathroom and the mini fridge/microwave. (Since the hotel does not offer free breakfast the fridge came in handy!) Great hotel, will definitely stay here again on our next trip to DC!
