I love the elegant colonial architecture of this hotel. It's in the center of the city and very convenient. I had a room overlooking the square which was very nice. The room was spacious and there was good hot water supply. The internet was however down during my stay. After all, I was in Cuba, so I think I can't complain about that.
The staff are welcoming and friendly.
The dinner and breakfast were relatively not as good as the rest of the hotel.

We stayed for 4 nights in this wonderful hotel. Our room was front facing with a balcony. We had a brilliant time here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and fresh.

Ideal location in central Trinidad. Staff welcoming and pleasant - breakfast buffet style - the widest choice imaginable. Room was of a good size and we were luck to have a front room with large, shared balcony. No other outside space at the hotel. Park opposite hosted a very loud amplified music event for the whole week and there was another event at the side of the hotel with competing evening sessions!

Our 3 night stay in the Iberostar was excellent. The rooms and service are first class. The restaurant was also of a good standard.
The staff are polite and helpful and make an effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
The Hotel is right in the centre of town and close to all the sites of interest, including Salsa lessons next door,
We found it easy to organise the excursions for hiking, sailing etc from the hotel.
If you go hiking ask for Lassoro - he is an excellent guide

Trinidad and the Iberostar should definitely be on your intinerary if you plan to visit Cuba.
