These are wonderful apartments if you are travelling in a group or with a family. We booked a 2brm apartment which consisted of 2 floors.
Downstairs were the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of which was an ensuite in the master bedroom. The bedrooms were comfortable with all linen supplied. The main bathroom also contained a washer and dryer.
Upstairs was an open plan area consisting of 2 balconies (one on either side of the apartment so you can follow the sun), a lounge with enough seating for approx 6 people, a dining table for 6 and a full kitchen with full size fridge and plenty of pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. The Kitchen would be ideal for long stays if you are planning on preparing meals but we only used it to chill the wine we had purchased from local wineries
The front balcony had a wonderful view of Onetangi beach.
I would highly recommend these apartments.

My friends and I booked into the Onetangi Beach Apartments because they were the only accommodation we could find available over new years. We were pleasantly surprised at how great everything was! The staff were very helpful and the 180 degree view of the bay from our room (the crow's nest) was superb! Despite the weather, we had a wonderful time and will certainly be telling our friends about it. We did, however, find that the spa was scoldingly hot though the staff were more than helpful in helping cool it down for us. The bus stop was a few steps away and so was the beach and the local cafes. A Great Stay!!!

Huge appartement with two master bedrooms, one additional bedroom, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and a spacious living room. The public bus stops just outside, and the ride to the ferry takes about 30-40 minutes. It’s a short walk to the beautiful Onetangi beach, and also to several vineyards. They don’t serve breakfast, but there is a restaurant/café just 20 meters from the reception that opens early in the morning, serving coffee, scones, muffins, sandwiches and warm breakfasts. The same restaurant serves lunches and dinners as well, and there are also two other restaurants within 100 meters from the hotel.

There is a wonderful assortment of accommodation on Waiheke Island but I prefer to stay close to the beach and you can't get much closer than Onetangi Beach Apartments, only a few paces from beautiful Onetangi Beach. I've stayed there many times over the years, the rooms are serviced daily and are very clean and comfortable with all modern conveniences and fast wi-fi internet. There are good sea views from most rooms but my favorite room is the 'Crows Nest' situated two floors above the office and facing directly out to sea. It's a very comfortable two bedroom unit with a large outdoor deck which captures the sun all day. For a peaceful and enjoyable break from city life you can't go wrong here...I'll be back again soon!
