Keith and Marilyn are born hosts. From being picked up in the drop-top Sebring convertible from the Ferry, to the welcome nibbles in the room along with a half bottle of a scrumptious local red, these guys have thought of everything. In the few years they've been open, they've had 2000 guests or so, but you'd think you were the first from their enthusiasm and genuine welcome.
The rooms are spacious, the view sublime, the shower a treat - there's late night port and chocolates, turn down service if you like it and breakfasts to die for. Make sure you ask for the French toast!
We took out the double kyack and Keith gave us all the tips to make a stunning day out. Same went for the bikes - and their local knowledge is packed with detail, humour and a love of where they live. It really is a blissful spot and we can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much for a glorious 3 days.

My 94 year old father and I had a superb break from old routines. Both our very expansive rooms overlooked the beautiful beach - such a treat to wake in the morning to the gentle sound of the waves lapping on the shore. My father's room was just perfect. The bed was so comfortable and easily accessible to sit on, the bedside lamp also easy to reach in case he had to get up in the night. The bathroom was exceptional in its spaciousness with easy access to the shower and a rail to assist. Marilyn even provided a chair in the shower if he required it. Even the entry door was wide enough for wheelchair access! Marilyn and Keith have thought of every detail so that our stay was perfect - even to having dad's precious morning paper ready for him!
Our breakfasts were not only a visual treat but also healthy, very tasty and set us up for the day.
I would reccommend this as a special treat for elderly parents - or actually anyone wanting time out in heaven on earth!

A beautiful gem hidden in a quiet ocean cove on a lovely island accessible by short ferry from Auckland. Keith and Marilyn were perfect hosts, the breakfasts were devine, and the rooms were quite spacious. Marilyn booked us a sunset supper at Cable Bay which was spectacular and a full day vineyard tour the next day which was great fun. But the best feature of all was the quality of sleep on their fantastic pillows and the massive showerhead for the perfect wake-me-up!

Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. It was worth the 10,000 km detour!

We spent the first three nights of our honeymoon here. Relaxing and luxurious, it was the ideal place.

Hosts Keith and Marilyn are full of ideas and assistance to ensure their guests' stay is perfect. Keith took us sea kayaking at sunset and lent us bikes to explore beautiful Waiheke island, as well as giving us great recommendations (and making reservations) for local restaurants for us.

Our room was large and airy with fabulous floor to ceiling windows overlooking the bay. Discreet touches like the appearance of a decanter and complimentary chocs for our return from nights out were another element that make this place special.

A special mention goes to the sensational breakfasts - something delicious, different and inventive every morning; and to lovely Hayley who served them to us.

Breakfast on the Beach was the perfect start to a wonderful honeymoon. We felt like royalty.
