Stayed here with my partner for 3 nights, the view up the sound was wonderful HOWEVER there was major construction work taking place directly opposite on the marina which even began on Sunday morning at 7.30am. The hotel next door was also extremely noisey (as pubs are) especially on a Saturday night until 1.00pm. Great location, and very nicely appointed, but check first before booking especially about the construction which looks a long way from completion.

If you get the chance to stay at Perano, grab it. It is wonderful; the views up the sound are superb. It's spacious, well appointed and very clean.

we have stayed in 5 star appartments and this rates up with the best, fantastic harbour veiws, very clean , fully equiped, freindly service, would recommend stay as long as you can , its paradise

We booked Apartment 4A, which was a 3 bedroom top floor unit with a great Kitchen and 2 bathrooms, plus laundry.Very reasonably priced and in immaculate condition. On site Manager was very helpful. The views were wonderful from the full length balcony - looking straight down Picton Harbour to the gorgeous Marlborough Sounds. Highly recommended.
