Well located by the harbour with great views. Easy walk to the Inter-Islander ferry and the Blue Bridge bus stops around the corner although the staff did not mention this. Public areas have been renovated but the bedrooms are old and the bathrooms ancient. Good food in the restaurant. Quite expensive for NZ and odd that reception does not open until 7:00 am when that is the check in time for the first ferry (an admin person was actually there at 6:40 but still said they were closed).
