This is one of the hotel which kept its charm. We have been here on a wedding and it was just one brilliant experience, Amazing food, great service and nice comfy bed. All I can say is just go and find out for your self, because this is something rare in High Tatras.

This hotel presents itself as "luxurious first class hotel". However, we found many little details rather disappointing. We would expect the liquid soap container in our bathroom to be full; the envelope and notepaper in the welcome package to be clean and flat; the staff to be always friendly and helpful; the information in the materials in the welcome package to be up-to-date and accurate. We were very disappointed when we entered the swimming pool shortly after the opening time advertised in the brochure, only to be rudely thrown out by the staff who appeared twenty minutes later claiming that the opening hour is an hour later. Even if that was the case, they should have been more polite!

This hotel was very nice, very friendly and very relaxing. The pool and wellness spa are very nice, and the hot stone messages are wonderful. The internet connect was a little iffy at times, but worked fine once you got connected. On this that stuck out was the exceptional service from the bartender Ja`n. Hey was very helpful and was very easy to get along with. Prego Ja`n!

We stayed at the hotel for one week in August and were very pleased with the trip. We booked a promotional rate off their website. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with a fairly wide selection to choose from - the food was good. The evening meal (part of the offer) was truly excellent . Every night we came away impressed - and the setting - an elegant dining room - matched the quality of the food. The hotel itself has an old world charm - it can't be called modern but thats no bad thing. We would certainly go back.
