We stayed for three nights in July 2005. We found the owner and staff very helpful and did not find it noisy at all. The Restaurant was a little dark but the bed rooms were excellent and we were very happy with our stay. We found the huge industrial chimney beside the hotel a bit overpowening but when we were driving it certainly made the hotel easy to find.
Altogether not bad for the money.

From photographs, I had the impression that this hotel was in a quiet spot ..... how wrong I was! It is on a very busy main road with some major building work going on around the side and back of the hotel very close to the rooms (possibly a new road) and it was also next to a train track and all night it felt as if we were sleeping on top of a motorway. The hotel itself was dark and dingy and although the beds were clean, the linen was all very tired and needed replacing. Breakfast was a continental style breakfast served in a dark, 70's style restaurant on the lower floor which was quite dark. Most tourists visiting the Wieliczka Salt Mines do a day trip from Krakow and I would certainly recommend doing this rather than staying in Wieliczka for a night.
