Romantic weekend was affected by many small incompletenesses which were easy to manage but quite surprising in such a nice hotel. Very good restaurant La Cave and perfect location in the center of the city. The Wellness and Relax services of the hotel are placed in a little bit strange and unfriendly basement area... check it before you do the order...

This hotel is very good quality taking in a consideration that it is in relatively small town like Tabor. We had the "romantic package" which included flowers, dinner, accomodation and one "private" hour in pool area. Everything was very good quality, spacious room with air condition (very rare out of Prague), food was also very good quality and presentation like in top class restaurant, but unfortunately we could not dine in their nice cellar restaurant becase there was a wedding party. Staff was nice, service at terrace very quick. Only room prices on spot - rack prices are relatively high, sometimes higher then in Prague, but prices of weekend packages are very reasonable. Probably prices offered via travel agencies are also acceptable. Over all Tabor is nice historical town, much more quiet and smaller then Cesky Krumlov but not empty, with relaxing atmosphere. I recommend it for one night stop.

An excellent hotel in the historic town of Tabor. We stayed two nights and found both the hotel and town to be well worth a visit.

Climb the church tower in the main square, visit the Hussite museum and eat in one of the local restaurants, great place for a short stay

stayed at the hotel dvorak for one night in february 2007, myself and my three small children. hotel seems brand new (meaning newly renovated historic building). room was huge, on second floor. everything seemed new, with excellent quality fittings, one enormous (very comfortable) double bed and large, comfortable sofa-bed. breakfast was in nicely renovated cellar area. staff seemed friendly. would not hesitate to stay there again (stay was enforced since my wife had to spend one night at the hospital in tabor).
