This place was great. It's centrally located. We had a good night's sleep. Everything was clean. adequate and very reasonable.. We arrived late and the Dining Room was closed, but we were able to find something else nearby. We only stayed one night, as we were just touring Slovakia. It's located on the Town Square, but it was quiet, You could see onto the Square with it's beautiful churches and delightful burgher houses. The next morning we took a tour of the town and spent more time there than we had anticipated. Very interesting and lots of see if interested in history.

We stayed here as an overnight stop between Krakow and Budapest. Levoca is a neat walled town in the middle of the Slovakia mountains and Hotel U Leva is right in the middle of it. We stayed in an incredibly large (by European standards) 2 bedroom suite with views of the city. Room was very clean, non smoking and bathrooms upgraded. We had a terrific dinner at the hotel at a very reasonable price. The included breakfast was good. Staff was friendly, spoke English and provided helpful directions. Parking on street was fine overnight although the hotel also has a private lot. Overall it was a very good value. We enjoyed walking out of the hotel and right into the square, historic churches and narrow cobblestone streets. Nearby Spiis Castle and Slovak Paradise National Park were incredible. We wish we would have stayed a few days.

The hotel is right in the center of town. I parked my rental car right in front of the hotel. The service was very good. The room was large and very adequate but I don't think they have AC. The main square was right outside but it was not noisy in the evening. They provided wired internet. There were not enough outlets to plug in my computer and two cell phones. The room was 4o euros and that was a bargain. Breakfast was an extra 5 euros. There were some meats and cheese at your table when you arrived and they would make a few things to order. The selection was a little limited compared to other breakfasts we've had. The only negative was that if you sat in the table on the street that beggar children would come be an annoyance.

I stayed here with my family on our recent trip to Slovakia. We had a double room, complete with kitchen with mini fridge, electric tea kettle, stove, and dining table. Our bathroom had 2 separate rooms, one had the shower, commode and sink and the other had a wonderful bathtub. The location is perfect, right across the street from the Cathedral. The town square was picture perfect and had great shops on it. There was a grocery store just a few stores down and a butcher shop the other way.

We only stayed one night and unfortunately for us, the entire town square was out of water in the morning. This made getting ready rather difficult but the hotel staff was great and even gave us back some money for the inconvenience. They were able to make breakfast however, which was a traditional European breakfast. Great food!
