We had a lovely big room with the use of the kitchen in the smaller room next door. Our room had a nice table and lounge suite, good television and very comfortable big bed. Wifi was only available in the lobby, free of charge. Location was great and easy to find in the small village.

The hotel was empty and I think we were actually the only guests checked in over the weekend of our stay. We felt a little bit sorry for them and couldn't believe they had opened a hotel just for the 2 of us and got a staff member to sit at an empty reception for 12 hours or possible 24 hours depending on what time they closed?

However, we were disappointed because we thought there was going to be a sauna and fitness centre but none of this existed. There was a beautiful bakery at the end of the street, 5 mins walk and a little grocery store which was dirt cheap.

Would stay again, just disappointed about non existing sauna and fitness!

This hotel was a fantastic find in a historical UNESCO town. I agree with the other reviews that talk about how the hotel was aesthetically renovated- it was quite lovely and had a very modern bathroom with beautiful finishing.

I think what I liked the best was that the bathrooms had heated floors. Waking up in the night or morning and coming into it was fabulous.

The town of Levoca is also a great find and is just minutes away from other historical sites.

The restaurant in the hotel served fabulous food. Staff was friendly and helpful always.

I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year mainly in North America for business and this rated up there with them all.

Our stay at the Hotel U Leva in Levoca was fabulous. The hotel has been renovated with an aesthetic sense that creates a warm and welcoming ambiance - the best of historic charm and modern comfort. Our room overlooked the medieval town square with churches and points of architectural interest in every direction. The hotel restaurant is the best in Levoca, with courteous staff, varied menu, delicious food. We attended our first 'Indian Summer in Levoca' classical music festival, and hope to make it a regular event. We had easy access to the Tatras for rafting, cave exploration, castle tours and more. Slovakia is definitely a treasure in Eastern Europe.

This place was great. It's centrally located. We had a good night's sleep. Everything was clean. adequate and very reasonable.. We arrived late and the Dining Room was closed, but we were able to find something else nearby. We only stayed one night, as we were just touring Slovakia. It's located on the Town Square, but it was quiet, You could see onto the Square with it's beautiful churches and delightful burgher houses. The next morning we took a tour of the town and spent more time there than we had anticipated. Very interesting and lots of see if interested in history.
