Absolute rubbish. Do not be fooled by the initial friendly welcome. As soon as you start to notice problems and ask for help, it all changes, you'll simply get the run-around. OK, where to start? It is NOT convenient to the slopes, unless you like skiing on gritted roads. Awful food. Hard beds. No minibars. Tiny bar means guests have to sit out in reception when it's full (which is always). Poor general decor. Heating turned down as low as they dare. Every third light-bulb turned off (yes, literally). Unpleasant manager. The WiFi rarely worked, and only in Reception. Tiny lockers for ski gear, which are not secure. No change of towels or bed linen during the stay. Stressed and impatient staff. We lived in the Czech Republic for years and had some great weekends at Spindleruv. This hotel spoiled the memories. There are much better places. It's such a pity because the building is a nice one. In the right hands this could be a good hotel. The current owners seem to be on an economy drive and it shows.

Great stay. We were there for 4 days, and the room was very large and the location was not too far from the slopes. though we got taxis to and from the slopes (CZK 100 each way), as we were first time skiiers - more confident skiiers can ski directly to the slopes through the forest.
The biggest plus, was the level of service we received. Susan on reception was fantastic and helped with all our problems and little issues! They helped jump start our car (twice!), and we got the feeling that no task was too big for them.
Again, great stay!

Naše dovolená v tomto příjemném hotelu se vydařila. Domů jsme se vrátili nadšeni a s vědomím, že hotel rozhodně znovu navštívíme. Lyžařské podmínky a vyžití ve Špindlerově Mlýně je výborné, jezdíme do Krkonoš již spoustu let, ale ve Špindlerově Mlýně jsme byli poprvé ( rozhodně ne naposledy :-).

Ubytováni jsme byli v pěkném prostorném pokoji s výhledem na sjezdovky.

Strava formou polopenze byla výborná. Ráno bufetové stoly a večer výběr z menu.

Za pobyt pro dva jsme zaplatili jako jinde za jednoho...vyplatí se využívat Last moment :-)

Celkově jsme si dovolenou moc užili. Nemalou měrou k tomu přispěl milý a ochotný personál hotelu.
