I came for 7 day stay organised by travel office with my wife. Hotel is placed in Ryzoviste, approx 2-3km from heart of Harrachov. Building itself from outside reminds communism times.Let's describe inside: Expect to carry your heavy suitcases - There are stairs to climb before main hall. Main elevator is extremely slow and doesn't react if more than 4 adults inside. Room corridors are fair wide. If you're more than 1.90m tall - beware of low frames there. Also watch the last step in staircase at every level - it's higher than predecessor.
Rooms were clean, surprisingly spacious. Bathrooms nice also (unfortunately we had very loud fan inside). The guests are mainly Germans, Polish and Czech.
Restaurant takes you back to middle 80's with music (annoying), walls, decoration.
If food is served for breakfast and dinner, it is fairly fresh (little boring after few days).
I advice to eat somewhere else during mid-day. Excellent beer!
There's a place for kids (with strange smell), billard, bowling. Smoking is allowed almost everywhere. WLAN for free.
Outrageous is that you have to additional pay for hotel parking. Should be included in price.
Very close are excellent ski slopes, just walk outside in your equipment and you're on.
If you want cheap stay and focus only on ski - that should be your place.
