The hotel was clean and comfortable, however, there was no air conditioning so it was difficult to sleep at night. Also, the beds were were short and narrow. There was also only a net curtain and a thin, almost transparent, pale green curtain hanging which meant that at 3.30am the room got as light as the day outside and it was difficult to sleep.
Breakfast was OK, although not a great choice - cold omelette and sausage for the 3 mornings we ate there! However, there was also plenty tea, coffee, juice, bread/toast, cheese, cold meat and yoghurts.
The staff spoke great English and were helpful. The area the hotel was in wasn't great but better than some of the areas you travelled through on the tram to get into the city centre. The 30p trip into the town was a bargain! We enjoyed the bowling and snooker across the courtyard.
