Very nice, small hotel for reasonable price. Girls from front desk are always friendly and ready to help. We got all the services we needed for a long stay. There is parking in the yard of the hotel free of charge, which is very good extra for hotel in the city center. Next year we will defienetly choose the same hotel!

Last week me and my boyfriend was traveling to Latvia and we stayed in this hotel, we really liked this hotel, its quite small, but so nice, the Receptionists was the best one!!!!!!! we felt so confortable and calm.
Thanks to this hotel, We had the best weekend ever!!!

Hotel in the centre of Riga and near to Old Riga. There is a parking.
Good breakfasts.
But....
Rooms very small. In our double room there was an additional children's bed. To reach a case and something to put in it, it was necessary to put acrobatics miracles.
The shower cabin has been broken.
Employees have started to clean dust in a room after our reminder on it.
But has afflicted any more it.
In a dining room is available only two tables one of which always was "Reserved". It is not enough place for all visitors on the remained table. When once we have sat down for the reserved table, any person, probably the director or the owner of hotel has come, and has shouted at us, and then began to abuse the manager of hotel loudly and roughly in the Latvian language directly at visitors. We have changed for other table, and that person has taken seat for the released table.
Unpleasant impression. It seems that the owner of hotel considers the employees and clients as people of the second grade.

Stayed at Hotel Enkurs for 2 nights in June, 2007. The hotel is about 2 km from the Old town of Riga on a busy Caka street, so it's not very central. Trolleybuses no. 18 and 23 stop near the hotel and they go to the central station, so the location is not a problem, though. Tickets for the trolleybus cost 0,30 Lt.

I had booked a small double room, but was surprised to see how small the room really was. We could bearly fit in with all our luggage. The bathroom, however, was quite spacious when compared to the size of the room itself. It was clean and tidy, but the towels weren't spotlessly clean. There was a TV and a minibar in the room, no air-conditioning, so it got quite hot during the night, although the weather wasn't too hot at the time of our stay (in fact it was raining a lot when we arrived).

The staff was helpful, although some of them didn't speak English very well. The breakfast was good with omelette, pancakes, bread, cheeses and juice/tea/coffee.
