Entirely all right hotel in a quiet area. Some houses in the neighborhood in some state of disrepair (not untypical of Riga), but area seems entirely safe. Friendly staff.

OK wifi, OK breakfast, free car park. Fairly close to town centre: 15 minutes by tram or trolley to the town centre. Good value.

A nice clean hotel situated about 15-20 mins from Riga Old Town by taxi, which will costs around £10 for a return journey.

This hotel is basic but adequate and you made to feel welcome from the start. I stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 nights and loved every minute of it.

The breakfasts are plentyfull, with hot and colled style buffet on offer. I particuly liked the mini pizza type breakfast snacks!

The hotel is in a residential area of Riga and is very quiet and you do feel quite safe, with 24hr reception and resident CCTV. Im not sure if this is needed, but it does make you feel comfortable at night!

Bedding was changed daily and the place was spotless from the day we arrived to the day we left. There were only about 10 rooms in the whole hotel that were actually being used so we sort of had the run of the place!

Overall, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable and well priced place to stay in Riga, I would strongly advise you look at the Vilmaja - we did and we dont regret it for 1 minute!
