What a pleasant surprise this hotel in Riga! It may not look great from the outside, but inside there is atmosphere and joy to be found. The Albert Hotel is based on Albert Einstein and this theme returns everywhere in the building. The design is slick and modern, but warm and soothing when needed, like in the restaurant. Which, by the way, has a very good and solid menu.

The room have a descent size and comfort level. The bathroom is good, just bring your own shampoo. Breakfast is plentiful and well assorted. The hotel itself is located about 15 minutes walk from the city center or five minutes with a taxi.

There is also a sky bar, not too big, but nice. Saves a walk to the Radisson.

Used this hotel during a business trip to Riga and I would recommend it for both business and pleasure. It is a 15 minute walk to the Riga Old Town and city centre.
Rooms adequate, clean and bathroom same.
Breakfast is buffet style with plenty of choice. Evening meals are also good with good choice on menu.

Clean & tidy, super location regards to the city centre, nice bar at the top of the hotel[11th floor] great views and reasonably priced.
Good choice for breakfast but 2nd morning we was there it was busy & they ran out of plates and cutlery, tables not cleared, we struggled to find somewhere to sit. To be honest the staff were doing what they could but were understaffed. No coffee or tea equipment in the room.
All in all its a nice hotel & would stay there again.

Modern hotel in a great location being only an easy 15 minute walk to the charming old town.
Hotel may only be a 3 star but the service from the staff a quality of the food is much higher.
All the staff were very friendly and efficient.
The hotel is clean and has the quirky Einstein theme running throughout it. The bedrooms are are little on the smaller side but more than adequate for a short break and even the minibar prices in the room are not too excessive for a change.
The food was of a very high standard both breakfast and evening dinner. The star lounge bar on the 11th floor has some fantastic views over Riga and also does some great cocktails as well.
