I chose this hotel for a long weekend stay with my wife as we were visiting Riga for the first time to celebrate her birthday. Hotel Ainavas proved a perfect choice for us and with its old town location everything of interest was pretty much within walking distance. Sure it doesn't have five restaurants, a glittering lobby and an attached spa, but you can visit these elsewhere and pay for what you really value.

Our room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast in the downstairs room with vaulted ceiling was perfect for our needs. Internet worked with a cable, that reception supplied with no problems. Paying up front made the price very reasonable, especially when you're from the UK.

I slayed in this hotel for 2 nights in October. Location of the hotel is admirable - Center of Old Riga.
It is very small, but realy cosy hotel. Sraff are well-wishing. Room is comfortable, but the fridge in my room was little noisy. The breakfast was good (not only smorgasbord but also omelet and porridge).

I spent weekend in Riga in this hotel and had a really nice days! Quiet and cozy hotel, good located, comfortable room, tasty breakfast, helpful personnel. Everything was very good!

Stayed three nights in a very nice suite on the top floor. Originally had booked a standard room on expedia but upon arrival we asked to see what else they had. No problem, we were shown several rooms and asked to upgrade. We felt we were charged a very reasonable price for it. The staff was very attentive and immediately responded to all requests. Ice, extra towel, early cup of coffee were not a problem. Breakfast in restaurant was more than adequate and quite good. Small bar in off the lobby for a quick drink or cup of coffee at odd hours. Short walk to old town. Nice stay!
