its close enough to the center, very clean and quite peaceful rooms.The view reflecting from the rooms of the hotel is mostly urban. soft lighting welcomes you during all day .the stuff is very helpfull.
i came there for work and got to use also the conference room which had everything i needed.

We came to Riga for a few days as part of a Europe vacation and Avitar was a great place to stay.The price was a bargain and the room was spacious and neat.

The continental breakfast was delightful and we enjoyed our walk to Old Riga - it took about 30 minutes but the weather was nice and it was a great way to see more of the city. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Avitar is definitely a good bargain!!

This hotel is very clean and offers a great breakfast. Public transportation right outside of the hotel that enables you to quickly get to Old Riga. Friendly staff and comfortable but simple accommodations. We enjoyed our stay - I recommend this to anyone who wants a nice hotel for a low price.

This hotel ranks as one of the worst I have stayed in. The rooms are very small and basic is saying the very least. There is a bed and the cheapest of bedroom furniture available on the market.

No A/C, although in June that wasn't a problem.

The toilet smells constantly and the only way you can make it through the night is too keep all of the doors closed.

There is an elevator, but you have to navigate a flight of stairs to get to it and if you're unfortunate enough to be on the 6th floor, another set of stairs when you get out.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 am and you had better not want coffee before then or you're told in no uncertain terms to find your own coffee.

The staff are OK, but only if you don't actually want anything.

The room rate for this stay if 58 euros per night, but actually you're better off spending more and getting a real hotel.

A real dump!
