The hotel is within a 5 minute walk from the old town. It is a comfortable, modern hotel with all the normal amenities of a Radisson hotel. The price of the rooms is very competitive and the restaurant is reasonably priced with good quality food. We went just before christmas and the christmas markets were in full swing. It was about -25 degrees at times so wrap up well and take good footwear and thermal clothing if you intend to go at that time of year.

Loved the hotel - beds were not great - but that was about the only problem. Great breakfast, polite people, very clean, very warm. €6 for taxi to airport. Central location. Hard to beat.

Very nice, clean hotel in very good location. Great breakfast. One of the best business hotels I have stayed in Riga.

Stopped for 3 nights at the end of october with husband and two friends. Hotel is right next to the American Embassy with 5 min stroll through a lovely park into the old town. Cleanliness of hotel was excellent ! Plenty of food to choose from at breakfast, however, the only down side was the hot food was luke warm if not cold some mornings. Riga is a beautiful city but don't go expecting a cheap break as it was more expensive than we had anticipated. A Main meal and 2 drinks each for 4 people came to just under £100..that was in a 'traditional latvian food' restaurant so just beware. Found a lovely bar next to the swedish gates...Garaza...this served the best Latvian beer on draft and did lovely reasonably priced food!!! All in all we had a great break in a lovely city !
