It has really great location - in the heart of Old Riga! And there are very friendly staff. We had great view to the cathedral and Christmas tree in the yard. Room was cleaned up every day, but bed sheets weren't changed for 8 days (we leaved a huge black stain on it during the first night).
I would recommend that hotel to everyone, but there were some unpleasant things -
1) Our room was too dark - we need to switch on about 5 lamps to see something. And there is no central switching-off device (I mean something near the door that helps you to switch everything off just pulling out the card).
2) The problem with canalization in shower - water in the cabin drained so badly. We had only 7 minutes to take shower, because otherwise water started to overflow!

It was nice staying! Konventa Seta is a complex of buildings. The location is great (the heart of Old Riga). Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was OK. Guests have a discount for having dinner in their restaurant. I would recommend that hotel to everyone who is going to Riga!

This hotel has the most important - great location in the old town. This makes it easy to walk around to any of the sights worth seeing. So if you can handle a mediocre breakfast, bedroom and interiordeco, you'll be happy with this hotel. It's all OK and they even have a pet bird in the reception....!

I have just returned from Riga. Myself and 2 girlfriends travelled for the Christmas markets. We flew with Wizz air from Luton - easy straightforward flight. I would reccommend using Baltic taxis from the airport which are 12 lats - we took a normal taxi that was 19 - lesson learned!

We checked into the Hotel Konventa Seta which is in the heart of the old down. Perfect location, everything is walkable. We stayed in a suite for 3 adults. Very comfortable and spacious. The room was cold but the hotel immediately put in a portable heater. Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good with a good selection.

I would highly recommend the hotel and the area.
