Located in main road of Jurmala. Cant miss it. Close to train station also.We stayed for 1 night on "Romantic Escape" Package. I am in Hotel Industry myself so..even on holidays i am evaluating hotels and taking ideas. Check in was quick and efficient.Room was ok but had twin bed. I suppose they had no double bed rooms available. At least they put a duvet so we had no problem sleeping on our romantic excape. When entered bathroom, we noticed a very bad smell coming from there.Contacted reception immediatelly, they told us that in 10 minutes maintenance will come. And they did.Maintenance man came, he poured a liquid down the drain and to the shower and smell vanished...
SPA treatments were good.Champagne was OK, massage was good and staff was smiling. I read other previous comments about staff not smiling.Seriously i didnt notice anything like this. Spa therapist was speaking english and asked 2-3 times if everything is ok. May sound as detail but its important.
Dinner was good.Waiter was friendly, smiling, speaking english and service was quick. He was also asking if everything was ok.
We also used the bar located on 11th floor for lunch.Very good food (for a bar) and qiock service. Also english speaking staff and also friendly and asking whether everything was ok. I enjoyed my experience in Jurmala Spa Hotel and I would suggest it to my friends for sure.
1 things i didnt like and i can not understand when being in a 4* Spa property. We had booked the Romantic Package including Spa treatments. I had to go to reception and buy a pair of slippers for 3 Lats. Its not a big cost for the hotel to have already in room complimentary slippers. After all, its a 4* hotel and we were guests booked a Spa Package accomondation..
