I really enjoyed my stay at the Metropol Hotel.
Fantastic location, reception and bar staff were very friendly.
Rooms were spotless, beds made every day.
We paid €130 for three nights and I thought it was well worth it.

Next to the Rotermann-center and at a short distance from the harbor. Rooms are clean and nice,suitably large for three persons (one slept in a extra-bed). Our room was on the third floor, and one minor minus was the lack of window insulation. The music from a nearby club was quite loud, but we were so tired that we fell asleep immediately. Very good breakfast-buffet included in the price. I will definitely choose this hotel if I come back!

The hotel is ok: clean and large rooms, edible breakfast, huge bathroom with sauna.
But there are troubles with wifi: it gets overloaded very often; and the parking is very limited: I had good luck and I got the place for my car (on the corner, with lots of cars and people passing by), but I saw other guests who had to park elsewhere.

Ive given 4 stars for Metrpol due to the location, affordability, having a fridge in the room, available parking and general standard of the rooms which I thought were more than acceptable.

I booked a bargain deal with easyjet and got the last room with a sauna. Ive never had a sauna in my room while travelling and it was very nice to come home after the cold of outside and enjoy it. It gave a very Scandinavian feel to things.

I had no problem with Wifi, I could connect constantly during my 6 day stay. The bar was always open for hot or cold drinks and the reception team and general staff were very helpful and all spoke excellent English.

Apart from the lift being a bit slow, I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay again.
