“Excelent Home from Home Attention to detail first class”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I have been staying at this hotel for a number of years now when visiting Tallinn on business and can not fault its level of service, cleanliness, attention to detail and service. The staff whether in the bar, restaurant or lobby are always so polite and helpful ~ nothing is ever too much trouble and you feel as if you are the only guest! Rooms and bathroom very spacious clean and have everything you would need. Walking distance of the old town so no taxis required. On leaving once I happened to comment about the lack of my favourite blend / type of tea at breakfast (admittedly from a selection of half a dozen or so!) Upon returning next time some while later thay had remembered my comments and had my flavour ready for me together with a small chocolate selection as an apology!! It is little things like this that put it above the mass market corporate hotels as you really feel like you are the customer and your custom is valued. Breakfasts are good and warm items cooked fresh to oder

Really nice surprise to find such a good hotel in Tallinn. Great location and great hotel - I look forward to returning and would definitely stay here!
My only critism - no complimentary water in the room.

We stayed in the Savoy during a two night visit to Tallinn. The hotel is very convenient for the Old Town where we wanted to be. The service was faultless. The facilities were what we would expect. Our room (502) was on the top floor with dual aspect so quite good view from the window. The room was nice and clean and a decent size. The only thing I would have liked was tea/coffee making facility in the room but there is a really coy bar in the hotel where you can have coffee in front of the fireplace instead.
Can recommend this hotel for a short break in Tallinn.

Room Tip: There is only one very small and slow lift so if you are not ok with stairs, then I would choose a r...

We traveled to Tallinn again for the New Year Celebration and this time ended up booking a room from Savoy Boytique Hotel in Old Town. City was (again) quite fully booked and could not find room from my regular Hotel Telegraaf. So decided to choose Savoy Boutique since it's location was very convenient for the program of this visit. Also it was located just few steps away from Freedom Square where all locals tend to gather for the midnight fireworks.

Arrival to Savoy was really smooth. Booking was found immediately and we got into our room within minutes of walking in.

Room was classified as "Superior Room", which probably meant this time a bit more floor space and a really nice view over the rooftops of Old Tallinn. Three windows with wooden white shutters inside gave a really nice touch to the room. Furnishing was quite modest, but room in overall was nice, clean and spacious. Bathroom was equipped with bathtub which I think is nice, but should then always include also a separate shower space since I'm not a fan of standing in the bathtub when showering.. ..

What brings me into the biggest failure of the room that was the curtain arrangement in the shower. How come the designers cannot invent a solution which would keep the water on the shower side instead of getting the whole floor wet... I can assure - it's not the first property (and I'm afraid most likely not the last) where I run into the same problem.

Bed was good and I slept well. I wasn't even bothered about the elevator just behind the wall making it's mechanical sounds - so tired I was. Not even the after party in another restaurant sharing the same court yard bother me even though the music was very loud!

Breakfast was served until 1pm! That was not a regular Sunday arrangement, but a special treat from the Hotel for the first day of the year 2012. Thanks for that. Breakfast as such was okay, nothing superb must say.

Special thanks for the nice personnel in the reception. Check out was as fast and efficient as the check in.

All-in-all the Savoy Boutique Hotel was a nice experience and I can easily recommend it to many kinds of travelers.

“Lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

We stayed in Savoy Boutique Hotel for 2 nights and were really pleased with the room and the service. Our room was at the fourth floor with romantic views over the roofs of old Tallinn. The room was spacious and nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom has a big bathtub and was very clean. Breakfast was wery good and service at the reception and the lounge bar was very friendly. I would definately stay here again and recomend this to all my friends.
