L'Ermitage Hotel is a great place to stay and offers very good value for money comapred to some of the hotels in the Old Town of Tallin. The inclusive breakfast was enough to set you up for the day. Bus 90K from the airport delivered us a few yards from the hotel for 2 euros and a taxi back to the airport was 10 euros.
It took us about 10 minutes to walk into the heart of Old Town and we never got tired of the view of the Nevsky Cathedral on the way.
The staff were very friendly and all spoke excellent English. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable and the shower was very powerful.

Located just outside of the old town which means you get to experience an enjoyable 5 minute walk up the hill with the Tallin castle, wall and church all within your view. For the price you get great value of a clean hotel, rooms of a decent size with all the mod cons you require plus an Estonian style breakfast buffet with enough options to allow you to fill up well into lunch. If your the kind of traveller who just wants a decent place to rest your head at night and are not willing to spend all your holiday cash on a hotel you wont be spending a lot of time in this is perfect place. You can get a bus to tallin from the airport for 2 euros or opt for a taxi for about 8-10 euros.

Nice hotel, 5/10 mins walk up the hill to the old town. Great base for sightseeing.
We stayed from boxing day till the 30th Dec. Rooms clean and comfortable, warm even when it's in the minuses outside, good breakfast selection.
Would definately recommend, and i'm hard to please as I work in the hotel industry.
Plenty of restaurants and bars to eat out in.
Recommend the Old Hansa.

The room was very comfortable, with bath and shower, though the towels were a little thin. The staff were very efficient, spoke excellent English and very helpful. The taxi service they use was very reasonably priced, compared to other hotels in Tallinn - 8 euros to the airport.
The location was excellent, just outside Old Town and easy walking from a well lit main street. The did a very reasonable package including fruit and champagne
