“Fantastic”

This was one of the best holidays I have ever had, the hotel staff were always so nice and although they aint aint the best speaking at English would always wish you a good morning, good afternoon, good eveing. The rooms were the best thing about this hotel, they were massive with heated bathroom floors also, shower either blows hot or cold though never the perfect measure. The distance from the old town was a fair distance though, but again speak to receptionist for a taxi and they book it for. Overall a fantastic holiday (except for the cold) and would i go back to Reval hotel and casino? In a heartbeat

Room Tip: all rooms are good

“Great base for a stay in Tallinn”

Just returned from yet another stay in this hotel and it was as good as ever. The reception staff were very helpful and sorted us out even though there was some confusion over the rooms (we had several reservations under the same group name so not a surprise things got mixed up). The rooms are a little dated as other people have said but there is nothing essentially wrong with them - they are very large, the beds are huge, they are clean, the bathrooms have heated floors. The only comment i have is that this time we paid for a room upgrade to a casino class room instead of a standard room and I really didnt think it was worth the extra for a couple of extra tables in the room. Breakfast was actually better than I remembered especially the hot food. The casino is a great place to go and have a drink. Even if you are not playing it has a bar area which you can sit in and the drinks are cheaper than in the old town. The hotel is a 15 min walk from the old town but it is straightforward and you can go through the Viru shopping centre if you need to get warm for a bit. I think its good to get a bit of exercise when you have been indulging in all the Estonian food and for the price you pay you cant quibble over a short walk.

Room Tip: Not worth the upgrade to Casino Class, the standard rooms are fine. Its nice if you get an old town...

“Rooms dated, 15 min walk to old town, but cost effective. Not good for family”

The hotel is part of a casino complex on the ground floor. So it is not really a business hotel or good for families. Mainly single people in their 20’s / 30’s and local established business people you would not like to meet in a dark alley. Not good for families at all. The rooms are clean, but you get a sense of a rundown seaside hotel from the late 1980’s in the UK.

Free wireless internet at the hotel, so this is a plus. The lobby late at night and outside tends to have the occasional local females hanging around at rather odd times of the evening. Make your own judgement as to why?

Would I stay there again, not sure. If a stag weekend yes. Business no, family trip certainly not. I never used the restaurant or took breakfast as the atmosphere does not lend its self to make you feel comfortable.

Room Tip: stay away from the lifts and grab a no smoking room

“Great Value”

For the price 48 euros per night for a double room with disabled facilities on the ground floor
this hotel represents exceptional value.Buffet breakfast was free and more than accetable.Staff were friendly and helpful. In particular Anu on reception was brillant in helping us organise our stay. Food and drink were available 24 hours in the Hotel Casino at reasonable prices without the requiement to gamble.Rooms were clean and well equiped.

“Very average”

Not a great hotel. I was expecting much more from such brand as Reval.
Rooms are dingy and quite smelly, and smoky. Also we had a bad confrontation with reception staff (we have been booked 2 double rooms , but we were only 3, so they decided to give us one double and one single, which is much smaller and it should be cheaper) and they explained that there are no free rooms left. After ~30minutes of dispute they miraculously found free room next to ours.

Breakfast was best thing in this hotel.

I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel to my family or friends.
