This is quite an ugly hotel on the outside located at a major crossroads a few hundred metres from the edge of the old town of Tallinn. Inside it is typical of the motel class facilities offered by Scandic; ticking most boxes for what you need but nothing more. The room was spacious and the wooden floor was nice for a change. The electric outlets were located out of reach from where you would like to connect your computer to. Wifi was included in the price already and worked well except on the day od departure when it was not working at all. The reply that the breakdown was reported was, to put it politely, not very useful to a guest who needs to check-in for flights or send important e-mails. There should have been (perhaps even paid-for) alternatives and/or back-ups.
I was the only diner at the hotel restaurant on a Friday evening. The receptionist doubled up as the waitress. To be on the safe side I took the schnitzel, which turned out to be quite OK, because they kept things simple. Breakfast was adequate but not inspiring.
There is a bus stop 100 metre from the hotel for the airport bus (2 € for the ride).
