Built as accommodation for Olympic sailing competitition and although reasonably well maintained and decorated reminds me more of a hostel than a luxury hotel. The walk in rack rates are ridiculous, but free wifi in the lobby so check prices there. Good value though if you get the right internett rates with included breakfast. Big hotel with many facilities and can be a long walk from the entrance to the rooms. Good reception area, but often long queues for check in/out. Ask for a room on the B side (overlooking the sea) with a low number. There was no air con in our room and with window open the sea can be a bit smelly . Right on the beach, but this is more a local beach for city dwellers than the sort of beach you travel to. Long way out of the city but good bus service straight to the city centre. Parking right outside reception so should be safe.

We did a reservation for a Suite for a purpose.
We needed a short luxurious vacation with a big room and balcony.
Big it was and that is great.

How ever, the balcony was full of snow, there was forbidden to smoke in the balcony?! That should be indicated on your web page. I new it is forbidden to smoke in the room, and that's how it should be, but not in the balcony!
And it should be cleaned of snow!!! Not a good firs impression after all.

On corridors there was a strong odor of [--]. Not very pleasant to walk by.
On a second day lights on corridor of Bubka suite went off. That was corrected after calling to reception.

Only good thing was the size of Bubka sweet, everything else was more or less unsatisfying.

Price range with these faults were extremely too high for this suite.

A good breakfast. Excellent swimming pool, sauna. A remarkable spa. Very good location, right near downtown, parks and of course the sea!

For this trip we take our child of 1 year old with us. It was his first whinter trip. At the hotel he liked the playing room and the little baby bed in the room. At the first floor there was a beautiful Cristmas tree and the Santa Claus that Alexander liked to examine. Many times we went to the Old Tallinn. We went to Olde Hanza, walked to small streets, saw beautiful houses, small booth, cafes, churchs, nice and pleasant people.
We enjoy staying in Tallinn and surely we will return.
