Firs of all, I'd like to say that Mikotel has a great location! It's near to central railway station and not so far (10 minutes) from historical part of town. Breakfast wasn't luxurious, but enough not to feel yourself hungry. Room was clean! I recommend to stay there for 1-2 nights.

The hotel is not a hotel but serves as a place for the 1 night stay!
Keep away from this place unless your are searching for this kind of adventure. During my unfortunate business trip I stayed there for one night. All night there were a non-stop noise, people coming & leaving...

P.S. if you want to loose your wallet or have a company in the hotel, you can do so on the same street were the hotel is.

We intended to stay 4 nights in Vilnius and although the lobby looked ok, the room we were given was horrible. It was dirty - particularly the carpet. The shower was very stained. The sheets and towels were fresh and clean so we stayed one night then found something else the next day.

We were shocked bye the way the staff of Mikotel charged us for the room we had already paid for the night before.This seem to been an unwritten rule for this hotel and its staff. My friends also paid the day before and was forced to pay once more when checking out. I also see on the reviews that others experienced the same tricks from this hotel. Mikotel is called cheap, yes thats true, but if you have to pay double up in the end for a dirty room with only cold water, drye bread for breakfast and a personell that just want to fool you, then its not cheap anymore.Its simpel as this.Stay away from Mikotel and dont let this hotel destroy your holiday in Vilniues, a great baltic city with many attractions and plenty of hotels with good vestern quality.
