I spent at this hotel two nights in a junior suite.

Arriving mid morning, the receptionist brutally invited me to have a walk cause I was early for check-in. After a long walk, I tried again, 20 minutes earlier than check-in time, and the same receptionist remarked again that it was too early, irritated by my presence and annoyed that she had to find a room that had been cleaned.

I was directed to a room on the first floor, except that there was no elevator to that specific wing of the hotel and I had to lug around, through a steep staircase, my 23 kgs suitcase.

The junior room was hardly a suite. It was big and awfully bare, view on a garage and on the hotel restaurant, the moquette was stained and smelly. Overall pretty uninviting.

The hotel, though, was clean and silent.

Breakfast was average.

I wouldn't rate it a 4 star hotel, given the state of this "suite", but it may be due to the standards of hotels in Vilnius.

After reading some reviews we were apprehensive about what we might encounter - however we had an excellent stay. Good price, great breakfast, helpful staff and a spacious well appointed room. The rooms may need to be renovated soon but the view from our room was spectacular and the bed very comfortable. For something different try to book room 401 - we did and it was great.

When we arrived, we were given a tiny room with two single beds joined together. This was fine for us, but the bathroom was dire. We asked for a better room and were given one in the 'cellar' bit of the hotel. This room was large and had a nice bathroom but it faced the car park and was rather noisy. The staff were very friendly and helpful though. We would stay here again, but perhaps we would pay for a superior double room instead of a standard double.

Please stay FAR AWAY from this place! My first hour here: room around 2 stars in terrible condition; next I found my room door lock does not lock - figured out with only receptionist how it should, next I went to look for free rooms in two hotels nearby - bad luck there was no; next I helped German bicycle van to park in the yard and took away my car to be sure it is not damaged and I will get out tomorrow morning; next I was exchanging bulbs in my room; next I was experiencing problems with internet and now I have disco noise... and this all for 124EUR!!! The highest price I have ever paid for hotel in Vilnius and 50% more then Radisson... F***!
