If you are looking for the perfect location in Vilnius, Centro Kubas is the little hotel for you. It is "centro" in that you walk one way to the major tourist street and the other to the famous Madonna of Ostra Brama. The hotel's theme is linen making, so the rooms are decorated with traditional linens on the bed and linen making tools on the walls. The room we had was extrememly large with a kitchenette area. Bathroom was small with only a shower, however other rooms had a bathtub. Breakfast was included which was more than adequate with the option of scrambled eggs, omelettes. or Lithuanian pancakes made to order. It was even possible to have an expresso or cappacino The real plus of this hotel was the personalized service of the young ladies at the desk. They all spoke English perfectly and made every effort to make our stay lovely. They arranged for tours and guides and offerred suggestions for restaurants. We stopped by the desk every time we returned to our room to chat and learn more about this wonderful city. We stayed five nights and enjoyed our stay more than we ever imagined.

One concern you might have is that the hotel is not airconditioned except for the 4th floor. We were lucky to be able to move to the 4th floor after one hot night. Other than this, Centro Kubas is a wonderful, small, boutique hotel in a perfect location with great service.
