Our introduction to this hotel was a free upgrade to a suite when we arrived. This set the tone for our five night stay. Our room was large and luxurious. The king size bed was comfortable. There was plenty of closet and dresser space and the bathroom was spacious and nicely appointed. The TV was flat-screen with all the main international channels. A user-friendly safe was in the closet. We had our choice of buffet breakfast or full menu service (included with the price of the room). We chose the buffet because of its convenience. Although it was not the best European buffet we have ever had, it was more than adequate, Service at the hotel was outstanding. All of our requests were met promptly and cheerfully. The hotel is located a short walk from everything but is quiet. One small negative--the hotel advertises a pool-- the smallest indoor hotel pool we have ever seen.

Stayed three nights for research my partner was doing for a travel article on the city (as accommodation laid on cannot assess value). In a quiet street quite close to the main sqaure. Spacious room on top floor, attractively decorated. Bathroom also satisfactory though shower hooks up from bath taps. Well laid out and comprehensive breakfast. Dinner in fairly empty restaurant and slow service. On the other hand staff helpful and provided tea before a very early departure for the airport.

Porter was in the front door ( did'nt have to look for him) and take care of the luggage.

Upgraded to a junior suite ( 213 ).Welcome drink and canapes.Adequate size of the room,considering it's a junior suite.
Shower in the bathtube,no separate shower.Adequate water pressure.Bathroom floor heated.

We have been invited to this hotel, so I cannot comment on the prices. The location is very central in the old town of Vilnius, perfect for sightseeing.

The rooms are - tiny. I got one on the third floor which is built into the roof and it had around 15 square meters plus bathroom. The bathroom was equipped with golden faucets, but the shower cabin only had curtains and after a shower the whole bathroom was under water. Also I had the impression that there was a air refreshener hidden somewhere because of the persistent smell.

The service is not meeting the requirements of a fife star hotel, with the exception of the bar. For example, the pool was hidden under a foil and the sauna was cold - to be activated only with an additional fee of 50 litu (around 20 Euro) - not what I expect in a 5 star hotel!

We did not try the restaurant since the prices mentioned where quite high, even for middle European standards.

However, the athmosphere in the hotel was nice, if oen takes the time to explore a bit. There is a second backyard (the first one is roofed and used for the restaurant) with a winter garden. Very romantic!

Wifi only works near the reception.
