Had another fabulous stay in Hotel Tilto. The best value for money I can find. If you need a break with no hassle Tilto is your place. Easy to book and great staff who really know the meaning of hospitality. Placed perfectly in the center of Vilnius but no street noise seems to reach the rooms. Ideal for a relaxing break from everyday life, this hotel is a gem.

I've traveled a bit through eastern Europe and this hotel is definitely one of the nicest I've come across. Very good value for money for it's location, while at the same time having a classy and stylish feel. The staff are very helpful,the rooms are spotless and the food is very good!

I stated in Hotel Tilto last weekend, on a short trip to Vilnius. The hotel was spotless and staff very friendly - reception staff, bar staff, restaurant and cleaning staff. The food was very tasty and well presented. I meant to eat out more but found myself going back to the hotel for meals. price and location were excellent. The main opera house is on the same road and 5 minutes walk from the hotel.

Arrived at the hotel after travelling from Kansus and coming from uk - so fairly knackered. Dumped our bags in the room - at the front of the hotel which worried me a bit as the window was right on the street - but never fear - in the night time the street was deserted and totally silent. We left the hotel and decided to have a potter around - it is soooo central for everything it was fantastic - had a good wander around the new town. Eventually we were so tired had to go back to the hotel and have a snooze - we finally got up again when everyone else was going to bed - but fear not we had a walk around and this time found old town - which was only around the other corner - felt stupid that we didn't find it early... lovely cobbled streets and found a few pubs late opening. Back to the hotel about 1 am and to bed again - got up early and were probably first down to breakfast - there are 2 breakfast rooms - so not too bad for groups and the breakfast was great - continential but nice meats and lots of variety - with a kettle where you could boil your water properly - I hate hotels where you have a boiler and it never boils the water so you have scum on the top of your tea.... (god I'm getting old).
The hotel was clean and comfortable - not luxury by any mean and rooms are a bit bare - but who wants to spend their time in the room. They could be doing with giving you more pillows but apart from that - it was fine - and I do like my 4 to 5* hotels - this time went cheap and cheerful and it fitted the bill perfectly. Guy in reception was very helpful and organised a taxi back to the train station for us. I would recomend taking an organised tour of the city - very imformative.
