We stayed in this hotel before Christmas time and loved the night views of the city line from the roof terrace. The hotel stands high over Kaunas old town. And the windows are very large.
It was very difficult to find the hotel at night - down Savanoriu avenue, take the next left below Zemaiciu street crossing (where there is white Christ's Resurection church on the left). So, if you have found this church, go back to Savanoriu avenue, turn left on the avenue and take the next left. You will see night club's lights - pass by.
We liked that the room was quite big and warm. We were warned about low ceiling by other reviewers and had no problems with it. Ceilings in Amsterdam's classic hotels are much lower :)
Bathroom was also quite large, with a bath tube, though obviously not new.
TV set was old and it was impossible to see or hear anything well. No fridge in the room and only a small closet. But there was a desk.
Though worn, the hotel was lovely, the receptionists were pleasant and helpful. There was free small parking right in front of the entrance stairs (beware of stairs!) as well as a large one behind locked gates.
We plan to stay in that hotel again, if it offers as good prices as we received in December 2011 - EUR 28 for a double room without breakfast.
