Recently stayed in Kaunas for a wedding. Not much to choose from re:accommodation options about town. The staff at the hotel were fantastic, friendly and helpful.

Room was clean, fresh and pleasant. Excellent location in middle of town

Ecellent hotel, nice friendly staff, clean comfortable rooms with a good restraunt and breakfast. The only problem we had was no hot water for 3 days because of a gas leak in the city but that can't be helped. Kaunas was a wonderful place, friendly people no problems at all Vodka about £2 a bottle and cigs 40p a pack in the local supermarket Maxima. Only problems we had was trying to find a traditional restraunt, there doesn't seem to be any. I hope Lithuania doesn't loose it's identity. The airport on departure was a bit of a nightmare only 1 checkin desk for 3 flights and everyone pushes to the front when their flight is called it took us one and a half hours to check in. Also our plane was delayed 1 hour and there is no announcements, you are just left queueing at the gate, but don;t let this put you off, we had a great time and would love to go back.

I stayed here with my Dad 5/15-5/18 and thoroughly enjoyed it! The location is awesome, the beds are ultra comfy and the breakfast buffet was very good! One downside was we were not able to make coffee/tea in the room. We would definitely stay here again and the price wasn't all that bad taking into consideration its location and room type.

Difficult to fault this compact and spotless little hotel in the center of Kaunas, ideal for either business or pleasure. The staff are friendly, but in common with much of eastern Europe, could be more helpful. I found the location, just off the towns central pedestrianized boulevard, a big plus. Were I to be critical, then I'd list the lack of a proper bar area within the hotel, as a shortcoming, but given it's proximity there are numerous bars and very cheap restaurants withing short walking distance. I would especially list the 'Amigo Bar' which is easily missed, being below street level, but is almost next door to the hotel, on Mickeviciaus Street. Gourmet food at ridiculously low prices, about sums it up. Finally, it's worth noting that the Daniella has free wireless Internet in the reception area, which is unusual in Lithuania in my experience, where Internet connection is usually charged at exorbitant rates.
