Nice and quiet hotel - worth the money

positive impressions:
*clean, modern and stylish rooms
*very friendly and helpful hotel staff at the reception
*located in the heart of it all, right in the middle of the historic quarter
*very good breakfast buffet
*strong wi-fi signal on room
*international television

on the downside:
there's actualy nothing worth mensioning. Of cause, beware of the horrible coffe at the breakfast table and order the available and tasty espresso right away (as already mentioned by some of the critics...).

So, as a result of it all, one can realy recomend the hotel and I would surely come back.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during my business trip to Bratislava. I did not find any special thing about this except the fact that this is in the center street of the Bratislava and very near to a MY shopping mall. This is situated in a small shopping center and has a very small reception. It looks that you are living in a guest house of a shopping center rather in a 4 star hotel which they claim. Rooms are very small and just OK breakfast in the basement of the shopping center.

I stayed at the Art William for a three night city break between 26-29 Nov with my husband and got a good deal through Alpha rooms for £160 bed and breakfast. The hotel is easily reached from the airport using the directions on the hotel website and costs only 90cents each using public transport. As other reviews state, its a bit of a strange set up with the hotel reception being in a shopping centre but our room was large, modern and spotlessly clean and well deserves its 4 star rating. The only thing i missed was not having tea and coffee facilities in the room but this is a very small gripe. All the sites of Bratislava are easily reached on foot from the Art William with a selection of bars and restaurants all on your doorstep. We also used this as a base and had a day in Vienna which was well worth the 11 euro train fair. Would highly recommend the Art William and would definitely stay again.

I followed previous advice and chose this hotel. I agree with recent advice below, though I would grade it only 4.5 (sorry for small imperfections):
No kettle/ coffee making inside the room; Breakfast rolls (bakery) were crispy and fresh but some were not, maybe left from earlier meal; fitness room (free access) is located about 2500 feet out in the cold (no mercy for those who use it).

Visiting Bratislava on a mid November weekend, you have to go in and out of the freezing air, check cozy Slovak Pub or a any coffee shop, or stay inside the nearby Eurovea shopping mall. We took the ride to the Castle with the traditional vehicle.

Other than that, the hotel is "perfect". If we'll have a chance, we'll come again.
