I've just returned from a weekend break at this hotel. The staff are friendly and the hotel has plenty of character and is built to a high standard. The breakfast was better than most with ingredients of high quality.

The only negative was that the gym is a little small and under-equipped. Overall, an excellent hotel.

Beautiful hotel, lovely clean rooms, friendly staff, nice welcome drink and biscuits - I was very impressed they had a room ready for an early check-in too. Room was spotless with the free mini-bar, coffees, and yummy breakfast buffet included - just makes the stay more of an experience too, rather than just a hotel stay. It's on the border of the old town and only 5 minutes walk in - excellent location. Couldn't fault it and would stay again.

Also, very easy to get to the hotel on public transport from the airport - just ask the information desk at the airport for bus / tram line numbers. For some strange reason Marrol's is marked in the wrong position on the tourist map and is basically in the same position but on the left side of the intersecting street and not the right side. Don't worry, even with a wrongly printed map it's still easy to find the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

A really great hotel ideally situated in the old town with easy access to the beautiful castle and a range of restaurants and cafes. The staff were very attentive, friendly and professional. On arrival we were offered a choice of free drinks and (nice touch) on my wife's birthday we found on returning to our room a single rose and a card wishing her many happy returns. The breakfast was extensive (hot & cold options) and the wifi was free and effective. The decor was classical but not old/gaudy and the double room we had was very comfortable and clean. Consider the 20 euro charge for airport transfers arranged by the hotel - same price as a taxi! I would certainly recommend this hotel to those visiting Bratislava.

room was nice, staff was outstanding and breakfast included a few types of eggs, bacon, sausage, rolls, cereals, typical european garbage and any drink you would like. All free as the wifi. nice pizza joint across the street as well.
