“Still, for a better location near the Bratislava Old Town to choose.”

We were at this hotel in 2011. Far away from the center, of course, walk about 15 minutes. Rooms are good, great, but it was just very cold, and as he tried to include more staff at the heating, warm in the room did not get. It is believed that in this part of town are very few homes have central heating it, so the hotel is heated by air-conditioners in the rooms. Breakfast so-so, very monotonous and not very tasty, that the rarity of Bratislava. But cheap and, in principle, good transport links to the city. But the girls at the reception - the charm, it is located to the guests, will always help))) Still, for a better location near the Bratislava Old Town to choose.

“Reasonable value but out of town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

This hotel looked a real bargain when booking, and if you are looking for a business style hotel it probably does reflect that value. However, the hotel is a good walk from the city centre and the service provided by the staff is ponderous, slow and dissatisfactory. The rooms themselves are big and clean enough, but lack a real spark.

Room Tip: Pick one in another hotel!

“Surprisingly good for the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

This hotel was really cheap, but really nice. Staff lovely and very helpful. Free shuttle bus to centre.
Downside: It's far away from the centre - and be careful coming back in a taxi at night, we were charged 15euro by a taxi driver - the same journey had cost 3.50 earlier that day. Very annoying. Also we booked a taxi to the train station for 7.15 on the morning of our departure and it didn't show up, another had to be phoned and we were lucky to make the train.
Our room was lovely, nice beds and bathroom, tv with some English language channels, fridge with some complementary water and coke, free wifi.
Breakfast wasn't included in our room - it is very expensive at 13euro each so wouldn't really recommend if not included. The dining room is worth a look tho for all of the stuffed animals and heads!!
Guests can use the fitness suite and the salt cave for free although we didn't get a chance as stayed only 1 night.
Overall would recommend this hotel.

“Excellent value, but factor in the cost of taxis unless you're a walker.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 December 2011

A really good value hotel with clean well furnished rooms and helpful staff. The free mini-bar contained a bottle of water and Coca Cola! There's a 2 euro breakfast of croissant and coffee/tea if you don't want the full works and a really lovely dining room with good food. Only downside is the walk to the town - it's a 'boring' 20 minute walk. Taxi charges varied from 5 to 12 euros, it's probably best to agree price before starting if possible. There is an evening shuttle service to the town, but it never seemed convenient/avaliable and had to be booked ahead.
