Room very dated, worn carpets, cracked glass on the window. Rooms with a 'view of the river' - do not have much of a view because there's a huge advertisment poster covering the entire river side of the hotel which you can barely see through and there is a fairly busy road beneath and a tramline. Positive points: Staff very friendly. Ideal location right next to the castle, old city and the 'UFO' bridge. Bratislava is a compact city and easy to negociate by foot. Also very good breakfast

myself and daughter stayed in park inn its a short taxi ride from airport 20 euro,we arrived about 10 am and was ok to go straight to room which was fine t.v ,mini bar, hairdryer, clean twin beds very comfy the staff was helpfull when we asked about trips etc the breakfast was fine lots of choice,it close to bus station where we got bus to devin castle and short ride in taxi to train st where we went to vienna for the day 11 euros return 1 hour 20 min journey, the old was nice to walk around the brazilan bar opp does nice food and has music in club downstairs wed to sat,we found nice coffee and cake shops and liked bar rock which played good music and beer was cheap, the hotel also had swimming pool sauna and jaccuzi and massage and gym which you paid for,the hotel opp bratislavia castle and by the river dannube

Avoid this hotel from Thursday to Sunday. The disco is audible on the third floor and is unbearable. Charmless. Well placed but in need of modernization.

Spent 2 nights here with my wife. As other guests have said the rooms are dated but were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff speak english and were helpful. The breakfast had a good selection and they serve untill 11am on Sundays so it was nice not to have to get up at the crack of dawn. The location is excellent and it is within walking distance of lots of shops, cafes, bars and restaraunts. There is a tram stop, bus stops and taxi rank across the street so it is very easy to get to. I felt it was excellent value for what we paid and I would stay again.
