The rooms RE typical Novotel hotel rooms. Not something special, just good. Breakfast was very good with a great variety. However, the service was not for 4 stars. Most of the personnel did not speak any English, our mini-bar was not functioning and when I asked to change it they responded that they cannot. It passed 1 whole day to change it. Also, the room was not very clean. The location is good, it is very close to the historical center.

I have taken part on a 3 days training in the hotel. The food was excellent, the breakfast was outstanding. The room was comfortable and big enough.
I have experienced a nice service from the staff. Highly recommended hotel.

I spent just 4 nights in this hotel, having stayed in many Novotel Hotels in the UK, and was happy to see the quality in Hungary matches that of the UK.
Check-in very efficient, staff helpful and friendly
The rooms are always of good quality, the only surprise being the double bed being provided with a single quilt. I have since learned that there are double quilts in a cupboard, but it wasn't a problem at all.
The only downside really was the wifi did not function, but if you asked at reception, as my client did, they would happily provide a cable for you.
There is a fitness suite in the hotel but I did not use it as I went out exploring the old town each evening while the sun shone, this is just 300metres from the hotel.
Breakfast was very good each morning a great selection always fresh and available from 6:00am until 10:00am it was a little expensive at 13Euros though.
I used the restaurant just once as I was entertained by clients in other restaurants in the town, but the time I used it the food was terrific and good value.
All in all a very good hotel, which I hopte to one day return too, and maybe take the family next time.

Szekesfehevar is a small town and there were not a lot of hotel choices. My husband's family lives nearby and this was a convenient location to stay over. When we were there, they were renovating the lobby and it smelled of chemical, like glue or something so I had a headache from the fumes. The restaurant has an open-concept so the smell was just as strong. Oh well... The room is ok. The bed is a bit old. The decor is sufficient and functional enough. It's just a place to sleep. The people are friendly and courteous. We will most likely return to this hotel as there really isn't that many hotels around this little city.
