“The Szeged experience”

Coming to Szeged from Budapest, it's a shock that no one understands English or German. The city boasts a university and great Secessionist architecture, but it's a backwater, at least in summer when the students are away. Hard to find a decent meal. The Korona hotel is right in tune with this. The staff are friendly but the convenience stops there. I only used it to sleep, and found the location perfect for my business at the University, so no complaints.

For this price - about 75 euros for double room its worthless - this is not Paris this is Szeged. The hotel is nothing special. The room was small, the furniture - cheap.
The first suprise came when i asked for the wi-fi - they required payment for the wireless internet.
The second and biggest disappoinment came when i found out that you must pay for air conditioning as well, which is absolutely stupid.
Dont make my mistake and choose another hotel.
The only thing that i like was the politness of the staff
