I am sorry to write, that within a wonderfull trip throgh Hungary we had a bad experience in the Amstel-Hotel. We stayed there two nights. In the evening of the day in Pecs we found out, that someone stole in our room 30 000 Forint, which is about 120 Euro.
The lady at the desk told us, that the manager would be there in the morning to solve the problem.
In the morning she told us, that the manager had to work somewhere else and the police would laugh at us, cause we didn't use the safe. She told us also, that the stuff in the Hotel don't steal.
That was all the "care about the guest".
Cause we didn't want to "spend" another day in Pecs we didn't call the police. Would they speak English or German?

I will not stay in this Hotel again!!! If you do so be carefull!!
