Hunguest Hotel Panorama was built in the "socialistic-realism" style, which means that it is a huge, ugly tower. However Hunguest - as one the biggest hotel chains in Hungary - has started to refurbish the interior: this means that there are a great number of rooms, which are called "superior rooms" offering a nicely decorated interior. The hotel's lobby with a small cafeteria has also been refurbished. Altogether I had good impressions about the hotel's services and look. The hotel is situated in a quiet street, with its own parking lot. Look out for Hunguest's package deals, which makes Hotel Panorama a very reasonably priced hotel. The two extras: the hotel is very close to the lake, you can walk there within 2 minutes + as the building is quite tall, you have a very nice view from the upper floors (that's why it is called Hotel Panorama). There are better equipped hotels in Heviz with their own wellness bathes: Naturmed Carbona and Hotel Europa, though they also cost much more. Anyway to enjoy Heviz, and to explore its surroundings: lake Balaton and the nearby bathes: Zalakaros and Kehidakustyan, Hotel Panorama is a perfect choice. I have stayed here 2 times already and I will just stay there on this weekend.
