I spent two nights in the hotel, it was clean and comfortable, but I didn't like the bathroom (there was no shower curtain and I prefer not taking a bath at foreign places). So after taking a shower the whole bathroom was wet and floody....it has a classical style, but in my opinion it needs to be renewed sooner or later (the bathroom is old styled for example).
the breakfast was fine, and the pool is also great.

I stayed in an Apartment Suite at Hotel Konferencia during my Europe trip, on that particular weekend that I visit Gyor there was a duathlon tournament so every hotel was booked out but this one. This is a HUGE hotel by the size of its room and it is also luxurious, but the satellite TV in that hotel is equipped with great channels. The rooms aren't renovated much from when it was built, I can tell. At night the room is dark and cosy, scary would be the proper expression so I would say this is an ideal for a family trip under the budget, and I forgot to mention that there's a really, really nice restaurant just next to the hotel called the Buffalo City, hope you enjoy your stay !
