My husband and I stayed at the Offi in Sept. and found it to be very nice..clean rooms..adequate bathroom...very nice staff...very helpful...good breakfast...inexpensive and convenient restaurant...we took the little train that is in the town square up to the wine cave area...you can stay there for as long as you want and eat in the inexpensive and good restaurants..explore the wine caves...and come back using the same ticket for the train so hold onto it...

Offi Haz in Eger, Hungary, is located in an impossibly picturesque corner off of the main square. The hotel is immaculate, and the rooms are beautiful - especially considering the very reasonable price. The excellent breakfast was included. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

Eger, Hungary was perhaps the town we liked best in Hungary. It was charming with some nice sites (most notably the castle). We found the Offi House to be a lovely little hotel with a perfect location (although not perfectly quiet if that matters to you), just a few minutes from main attractions. The room itself had pretty standard hotel furniture and was therefore nothing outstanding, but the facade is charming, the restaurant good, and the staff exceedingly helpful and English-speaking. We thought it was a good value.
