Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival. Hotel looked quite pleasant on the surface, however our room was at the back of the building with a "panoramic view" of an empty lot in a suburban street. The room was absolutely tiny and the two of us could barely move around. There was not one square inch to place personal items in the bathroom and the toiletries provided consisted of 2 miniature sachets of shower/shampoo gel, which weren't even replaced the next day. The biggest let down was the noise. The hotel had wooden floorboards and paper thin walls. Starting from 6.30am each morning we were woken by clomping feet in the hall and up & down the staircase. Additionally, if guests were up late (which they were) that also meant you were too. It was unbearable. The "spa" was that of a domestic backyard, and the "sauna" was a closet with glass doors and a heater. Finally, if you're not good with walking up steep hills you will need a taxi to get you back to the hotel from the town. It's not an easy walk. All in all, I would not recommend. A disappointment for such a beautiful town.
