The hotel staff was very friendly, they tried to help us in everything.The hotel was clean, and they have very good thermal swimming pool.The only problem ist hat, the Hotel need big renovation!

You can relax here.The water is very good.You can make good travels for historical places too.

July 2005, for 3 weeks at one of the most fantastic places in Hungary. The Danubius Thermal and Sport Hotel in Buk is a 4/5 Star Hotel. You can go there for any amount of time, but the best, best deal is the 3 weeks Buk Supersaver with Complete SPA Therapy. This is what you get, 21 nights accommodations, half board, thats 2 meals, a buffet breakfast and supper. Before I go any further, let me mentions the meals - they are outstanding. There is something for everyone. I don't care what kind of food you like, they will have it. The salads are overwelming, the entrees are from 4-7 every day. You can have the diet plan if you wish. There is also 15 SPA treatments per week. Thats not a typo, its 15 per week. The facilities are great: Thermal pool, an indoor and outdoor pool, minuture golf, bowling alley, tennis courts, a workout room that is open 24 hours. The rooms are nice, a small refrig, a balcony with a tremendous view of the outdoor pool and lawn area with enough chairs for everyone. There is aninside and outside dining area, a TV room and a bar on the main floor. The price is unbelievabled: Single: 1500-1800 depending on date and double occupancy about 1300-1600. Thats for 3 weeks. You really need to check it out. Transportation- you fly into Vienna and arrange for transportation to the Hotel. In July 2004 we went to the Danubius in Budapest, in July 2005 we went to the one in Buk and we have already made reservations for July 2007 for the Danubius in Budapest. We have found our "home" for July.
The Staff was outstanding, just a reminder, "English" in Buk is not the main language. We spoke no Hungarian and got along great.
